Who You Help

Since its inception in 1941, more than 1.2 million young Canadians have been members of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Each year more than 9,000 youth participate in the Air Cadet program in Ontario. We are proud to be able to contribute to the development of these young men and women as they become outstanding citizens ready to face the challenges of an ever-changing world.

Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle:

    1. The lottery will take place online only during:
      1. Draw 1 -Monday December 14, 2020, 3:01pm EST – Thursday January 28, 2021, 2:59pm EST (45 days)
      2. Draw 2 - Thursday January 28, 2021, 3:01pm EST – Thursday February 25, 2021, 2:59pm EST (28 days)
      3. Draw 3 – Thursday February 25, 2021, 3:01pm EST – Thursday March 25, 2021, 2:59pm EST (28 days)
      4. Draw 4 – Thursday March 25, 2021, 3:01pm EST – Thursday April 29, 2021, 2:59pm EST (35 days)
      5. Draw 5 – Thursday April 29, 2021, 3:01pm EST -Thursday May 27, 2021, 2:59pm EST (28 Days)
      6. Draw 6 – Thursday May 27, 2021, 3:01pm EST – Thursday June 24, 2021, 2:59pm EST (28 Days)
    2. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older. All tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions (AscendFS).
    3. Must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
    4. Tickets are: $10 – 10 Tickets, $20 – 40 Tickets, $40 – 100 Tickets
    5. Tickets will be available at online at www.aclopc5050.com
    6. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions (AscendFS)
    7. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
    8. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
    9. Draw dates will be the last Thursday of every month at 3:00pm EST.
      1. Draw 1 - Tickets will be sold beginning at 3:01pm on Monday December 14, 2021 and ending at 2:59pm EST on Thursday January 28, 2021. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $1,000. When ticket sales exceed $2,000, the prize will be half of the sales.
      2. Draw 2 - Tickets will be sold beginning at 3:01pm on Thursday January 28, 2021 and ending at 2:59pm EST on Thursday February 25, 2021. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $1,000. When ticket sales exceed $2,000, the prize will be half of the sales.
      3. Draw 3 - Tickets will be sold beginning at 3:01pm on Thursday February 25, 2021 and ending at 2:59pm EST on Thursday March 25, 2021. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $1,000. When ticket sales exceed $2,000, the prize will be half of the sales.
      4. Draw 4 - Tickets will be sold beginning at 3:01pm on Thursday March 25, 2021 and ending at 2:59pm EST on Thursday April 29, 2021. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $1,000. When ticket sales exceed $2,000, the prize will be half of the sales.
      5. Draw 5 - Tickets will be sold beginning at 3:01pm on Thursday April 29, 2021 and ending at 2:59pm EST on Thursday May 27, 2021. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $1,000. When ticket sales exceed $2,000, the prize will be half of the sales.
      6. Draw 6 - Tickets will be sold beginning at 3:01pm on Thursday May 27, 2021 and ending at 2:59pm EST on Thursday June 24 2021. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $1,000. When ticket sales exceed $2,000, the prize will be half of the sales.
    10. The amount of the 50/50 will be available to see at any time during the current raffle period at www.aclopc5050.com
    11. The winning number will be announced on last Thursday of each draw month, on the www.aclopc5050.com website. The winner will be contacted using the information provided at the point of purchase.
    12. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Air Cadet League of Canada Ontario Provincial Committee at: 905-477-4411, or by email at: lottery@aircadetleague.on.ca. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at www.aclopc5050.com Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
    13. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.
    14. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
    15. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
    16. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than, Air Cadet League of Canada Ontario Provincial Committee, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
    17. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: Air Cadet League of Canada Ontario Provincial Committee Staff and Board of Governors are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.

    19. 10. In order to purchase a ticket in the Raffle, you must supply us with certain personal information (such as name, home address details, date of birth, payment card details and e-mail address). Certain information (NTD: name, home address details, date of birth, and e-mail address) may be shared with AscendFS Canada Ltd. (“Ascend”) in order to process your request to purchase a raffle ticket. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to us sharing this information with Ascend.     20. 11. Squadrons that are identified at the point of purchase to receive credit, will only receive credit in the form of recognition by the Air Cadet League of Canada – Ontario Provincial Committee. There will be no financial gain or transfer of funds to the selected squadron. All funds generated by the 50/50 draw(s) will be managed by the Air Cadet League of Canada – Ontario Provincial Committee in accordance with all applicable laws and agreements.
